After nearly 2 years of battling with Lambeth Council over an illegal parking fine they issued me with I decided to take them to court and my day in court was to be tomorrow but I have just been informed that Lambeth Council will not be attending and therefore the case in now closed.  Shame on you Lambeth Council !!!

Since 2007 when we reluctantly decided to appeal our parking tickets for the first time we have successfully appealed every single one, reluctantly because of the increased charges if you loose which I guess are there to put you off appealing. In some cases I said to the traffic warden “You know the ticket you have just given me is illegal” to which they replied “Yes I know but you can appeal”

Other times after being allowed to load by the traffic warden I was on numerous occasions sent a Notice To Owner which is an increased fine for not paying your original ticket, a ticket which I never received. Needless to say they were successfully appealed against.

The value of the pound continues to fall, with some places offering only €0.98 cents for £1.

As mentioned on our site we are reluctant to have set prices for numerous reasons but mainly because we want to be able to keep Man and Van for London rates low. So this blog will enable us to give you a live update of current prices but please do check with us for a confirmed quote.
